Holiday Music Moment at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland

I collaborated with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland to highlight a special holiday performance featuring patient Jonah, who brought seasonal joy to the hospital through a heartfelt rendition of “Frosty the Snowman.”

During the performance, Jonah shared that the song reminded him of singing with his grandmother—a meaningful memory that brought comfort and warmth during the holiday season. Music serves as Jonah’s way of staying connected to loved ones, expressing joy, and maintaining a sense of normalcy throughout his recovery journey.

This project focused on capturing the emotional impact of music as a form of healing and connection within pediatric care. By sharing Jonah’s story, the content helped humanize the hospital experience, showcase the supportive environment at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, and reinforce the importance of creative outlets in patient wellness—especially during the holidays.
